The endomembrane system comprises of the nuclear envelope, ER (endoplasmic reticulum), golgi apparatus, vesicles, and other organelles. The endomembrane system works as a network to allow the cell to make, move, and break down cellular products. Each of the components have unique roles and details of each is beyond the scope of this question.
