Peer to peer network refers to computer networks in which each computer within the network acts as a client or server for other computers in the network, allowing for shared access to data without the need for specific central servers. P2P networks can be set up in a house, office or on the internet. Each computer in the network will use a compatible or same program to connect to each other to share video, audio, data etc in digital formats only. Examples of such networks are Napster, Spotify (playlists)
