The Executive Summary is one of the most important parts of a business plan and should be given due consideration before presenting the plan to potential investors. This is because it gives a quick one-page outline of the whole business plan and can either work to generate strong interest or to have the opposite effect. Potential investors would like to get a quick idea of what the core business of a company will be, how profitable the business is projected to be and how much an entrepreneur would like to borrow, what terms they would like to repay a loan on and additionally the risks inherent in the business idea.
